Adrienne Han is a media mover and shaker, who one day came to the jarring realization that of all the highly recommended leadership content she had consumed during her time serving as Director of Growth at Vox Media, leading a monetization team at CBS Interactive, and teaching a media strategy course back when she was an undergrad at UC Berkeley, there had not been a single piece of content she encountered which was authored by an Asian American woman. That was the day she resolved to put her media experience to work and address this glaring gap.
Today, she's building The Babe Brigade, a multisensory media brand that spotlights the narratives which mainstream media has been sleeping on, via capsule collections of digital content and physical product. The most recent collection: Hot & Sour Soup for the Soul, features cross-cultural motifs alongside lady leaders who are redefining leadership, success, and fulfillment in today's America, and who just happen to be Asian American.
Adrienne plays favorites when it comes to conjunctions, as an ardent champion of & > Or. The notion of assimilation or bust is a zero sum game, and Adrienne has created The Babe Brigade to rally around the &, because magic lives in the in-between.
