Tammy Cho is a proud Korean-American who works at the intersection of social justice, community and tech. She is Founder and CEO of BetterBrave and Co-Founder and CEO of Hate Is A Virus. 

BetterBrave is a nonprofit that empowers employees with knowledge and tools for navigating harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. BetterBrave has equipped thousands of workers across America and is recognized as a trusted resource by global movements like TIME'S UP and by national outlets including NYTimes, Glamour, Mashable, HuffPost, and Forbes.

Hate Is A Virus, a nonprofit that combats xenophobia and racism. Hate Is A Virus started as a grassroots movement in response to the rise in hate against AAPI due to COVID-19 in April 2020 and have since grown into an organization of 15+ volunteers dedicated to mobilizing our AAPI community to engage in social justice issues and over 16 million impressions.

Previously, Tammy co-founded Encore Alert, an AI platform that helps brands like IDEO, Denver Broncos, and the University of Michigan identify and act on emerging trends, crises, and influencers in their industry. She started the company as a college freshman at Georgetown University and sold it in 2016 at age 21 to Meltwater.
