Asian American Woman Shoved to Her Death Onto Subway Tracks in Times Square

Michelle Alyssa Go, 40, of Manhattan was pushed in front of an R train as it approached the 42nd Street platform in Manhattan on Saturday morning, says NYPD. The murderer and deranged homeless ex-con, Simon Martial turned himself into the police station a couple of hours later.

The family of Go, broke their silence on Monday, saying they are “in a state of shock” after the incident. Go’s family tweeted in a tweet shared by ABC News:

“We hope Michelle will be remembered for how she lived and not just how she died,” her kin said. “She was a beautiful, brilliant, kind and intelligent woman, who loved her family and friends, loved to travel the world and to help others.

“Her life was taken too soon in a senseless act of violence, and we pray that she gets the justice she deserves,” it said. “Thank you for your condolences.”

Go was also a member of the NYC Young Asian Professionals Community and a candlelit virgil in honor of Michele will be held Tuesday, January 18th at 6:00pm ET by Ben Wei.
