Gedde Watanabe Remarks How Encouraging it is to See More Asian Representation in Hollywood

Watanabe talked about how great the Asian actors have worked in the industry and how amazing it is to see the increase in diversity.

Actor-comedian, Gedde Watanabe, discussed his role in the 1984 romantic comedy film “Sixteen Candles” in his recent interview on the KTLA 5 Morning News, and how things have changed for him and the Asian community in Hollywood since then.

He also discussed his role in Sondheim’s “Assassins” in length, saying that the story of the plays connects with him.

A sneak peek of “Assassins” previews this Thursday at the East-West Players Theater It will be open to the public from February 20 until March 20.
