BTS to Hit the South Korean Stage Again Since 2019

The K-pop band is returning to the stage in Seoul despite Omicron outbreak in their home country, as pre-pandemic life returns.

BTS had performed in the U.S. but not in its home country since 2019. The group’s management agency, HYBE Co., said on Wednesday that the band will hold three in-person performances in South Korea next month.

Last November, marks the group’s first public appearance since the COVID-19 outbreak when BTS performed in front of fans in Los Angeles. According to Billboard Boxscore, the Los Angeles shows sold 214,000 tickets and grossed a whopping $33.3 million, the highest gross for a series of gigs at a single venue since 2012.
