Female Entrepreneurs Who Are Breaking Boundaries at Lazada Forward Women Awards 2022

Southeast Asia’s leading eCommerce platform, Lazada, hosted the second edition of the Lazada Forward Women Awards 2022 in conjunction with International Women’s Day.

The awards ceremony was held at Lazada’s flagship office and Singapore headquarters, Lazada One, and was broadcast live on the LazLive channel in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. 

The award categories highlight the perseverance and can-do spirit of female business owners pursuing and realizing their entrepreneurial vision. They have not only achieved their economic success but also serve as role models in their communities, giving back and making an impact.

Lazada Forward Woman of the Year Award

The most desired award acknowledges a successful seller reigning from each market that Lazada operates in – Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. 

Berry Baby’s Farica Edgina Yosafat (Indonesia), Big Care Mart’s Kong Wai Theng (Malaysia), Lucky HR’s Monalisa Gao (the Philippines), 8miles’ Liang Wee Ling (Singapore), Happi Cup’s Pattiya Thanasrivanitchai (Thailand), and Light Coffee’s Đoàn Trần Thùy Linh (Vietnam) have all proved to be an all-star all-rounder when it comes to handling internet commerce, exhibiting strong business acumen and a consistently high performer for their business while being an invaluable mentor and resource to her peers.

 

Rising Star Award

This award honors a seller who joined eCommerce in the last 12 months and has demonstrated to be the fastest-growing business on the platform. 1994food’s Nguyễn Thị Kim Oanh (Vietnam) took first place, with Sintesa Furniture’s Malida Puji Ayu Lestari (Indonesia) coming in second.

 

Bricks to Clicks Tech Adopter Award

Award winner, Elyse Janina P. Juan (the Philippines) of Papemelroti and runner-up Pang Jie Hui (Malaysia) of Healthy Baker, have proved their willingness to refresh their business strategies to the ever-evolving eCommerce industry in order to improve and expand their enterprise.

 

Creative Award

Niz Craft’s Nurul Izzan Zamzuri (Malaysia) won the award and the second prize went to Kiki shoes online’s Puthitorn Auethawornpipat (Thailand). The online sellers have proved their ability to think outside the box and implement new ideas by using innovative and technological approaches to advertise their store and items in a unique way.

 

Enterprising Award

Winner Nadya Amatullah (Indonesia) of Nadjani has demonstrated resourcefulness in seeking opportunities, taking initiative to pivot strategies that best upscale the growth and success of their business. Kelly Chan Jun Wen (Singapore) of Spreesuki took second place in the category.

 

Inspiring Award

This award honors a seller that believed in their vision and remained committed to making their dreams a reality – starting a business through resilience and perseverance, ensuring growth and success. Porcelain’s Pauline Ng (Singapore) won the award, followed by  Evan Marie Maderazo (the Philippines) of Sundals.

 

Social Star Award NEW

Category winner Manassawee Suangkaew (Thailand) of Loonnystore and runner-up Lưu Thị Thùy Dương (Vietnam) of Momo Mart, have shown that they’ve perfected the art of engaging with their customers through social media content and creatively leveraged social networks to build a following to boost their online selling on Lazada.
