The star of Marvel hit Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings, Simu Liu is in talks about an undisclosed role in the upcoming Warner Bros’ live-action Barbie movie starring Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, and America Ferrera.
It’s pretty obvious that Robbie will portray Barbie and that Gosling will play Ken, although Ferrera’s character is still undisclosed. Further storyline details remain under wraps.
Lady Bird and Little Women filmmaker, Greta Gerwig is directing the Margot Robbie-Starrer from a script she co-wrote with filmmaker partner Noah Baumbach.
Filming is planning to start later this year.
