Marriott International Champions Diversity With Female Asian Executives In Top Positions

Among the talented team of executives driving growth and innovation are Peggy Fang Roe, Tina Edmundson, and Yibing Mao, all women with Asian backgrounds.

Marriott has appointed Peggy Fang Roe, a long-time executive, as the new Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer. Roe will be responsible for the development and execution of the company’s global consumer strategy, which includes the evolving brand portfolio, the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program, and end-to-end customer experience using data, AI, and innovation.

Tina Edmundson, a veteran brand leader, has been appointed President of Luxury. Edmundson’s new role emphasizes Marriott’s commitment to the growth and leadership of its prestigious luxury brand portfolio.

24-year veteran of Marriott, Yibing Mao, will return to the company as the President of Greater China, where she will be responsible for driving the company’s strategic growth in the region. Based in Shanghai, Mao will lead the next chapter of growth for Marriott in Greater China in her new role.
